These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of foxriver.ai, the services provided by Fox River AI ("Fox River AI", "we", "us"), our client dashboards, and the text messages we send. By using them, you agree to these Terms. Jump to the SMS Terms.

1. Our services

Fox River AI designs and builds custom websites for businesses, along with related systems such as online booking, review requests, AI chat assistants, dashboards and automations. The scope, price and timeline of paid work are agreed with each client before work begins.

2. Free previews and demo websites

We may build a free, no-obligation preview (demo) website for a business, either because the business asked for one or on our own initiative, using information the business gave us or has made public. You never owe anything for a preview. Demos are samples to show what's possible; they aren't the business's official website and may contain inaccuracies. A business can ask us to remove its demo at any time by emailing support@foxriver.ai.

3. Memberships, accounts and payments

• Monthly membership. Our websites are provided as a monthly membership, billed through Stripe. There's no setup fee and no minimum term. Your first month is charged when you sign up to go live, and your membership renews each month on the same date until canceled.
• Canceling. You can cancel at any time from your client dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for; we don't charge you again after that, and we don't give partial-month refunds.
• Unlimited edits. Your membership includes unlimited edits to your site's text, images and layout. Brand-new features or custom systems (for example, a client portal or quote builder) are quoted separately and only built if you agree to the price.
• Your domain. Your website's domain (for example, yourbusiness.com) is registered in your name or stays in your name if you already own it. While you're a member, we cover its registration fees. If you cancel, the domain stays yours and we'll help you transfer it; renewal fees after that are yours.
• You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of information you give us.
• Content you provide (text, logos, photos) remains yours. You confirm you have the right to use it, and you give us permission to use it to build and run your site.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use our services or websites to break the law, send spam, infringe others' rights, or interfere with the security or operation of our systems.

5. AI assistants

Our chat assistants use AI to answer questions and may occasionally be wrong. Please confirm important details — prices, availability, appointment times — directly with the business.

6. SMS Terms (text messages)

Program: Fox River AI text notifications. Fox River AI sends text messages to people who opt in, including: confirmations for calls and appointments booked through our websites and demo sites, account and project notifications for our clients (such as project updates, edit request status and payment receipts), and alerts that members of our team choose to receive.

• How you opt in: by entering your phone number and tapping Book on one of our booking forms — our call booking page, the booking card in our website chat assistant, or the booking card in a demo website's chat assistant — which shows these text-message terms right under the Book button (booking texts are only about that booking); or by ticking the text-message consent box in your notification settings. Opting in is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message frequency varies depending on your bookings and the notifications you choose.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
• To stop: reply STOP to any message at any time. You'll receive one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that. Reply START to opt back in.
• For help: reply HELP to any message, or email support@foxriver.ai.
• Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Intellectual property

Fox River AI's own website, branding, software and templates belong to us. Your content and your domain are always yours. The website we design and host for you (its design, code and assistant) is provided as part of your membership; when a membership ends, your site comes down at the end of the paid month unless you choose to buy it outright for a one-time price we'll quote you. Any separate written agreement between you and us takes priority over this section.

8. Disclaimers

Our websites and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don't guarantee any particular business results.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Fox River AI isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use our services means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
